This wheel alter is quite large, with a diameter or ten inches. The picture, due to the angle, is a bit misleading. The flower shape in real life appears much more symmetrical. The shape of the bowl adds movement to the piece. To glaze, I dipped the entire project in forrest green. Then i dipped the top third in matte brown, and the lip in black. This lead to a really cool gazing effect in which the darker colors ran into each other like rain running down a window. This also adds movement to the project.
